Assistance dog demand and supply - you can't get there from here.

We in the assistance dog world cannot simply keep going the way we are, ramping up demand and then ramping up the efforts to try and meet it. It hasn’t been working, it’s not working now, and it’s not gonna work – “you can’t get there from here”. We need to change the way we do business, and now.

I don’t say that lightly, and I offer up some reasons why I feel that way in this podcast along with some specific things that three primary groups – those considering getting a service dog, service dog organizations, and supporters / volunteers – can do right now to help attack this problem.
