Member of the CCI Veterans Task Force that coordinates outreach to potential military veteran candidates for dogs, especially wounded warriors from Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation Enduring Freedom. This outreach includes working with the veterans themselves, their families, associated medical staff, and other volunteer organizations such as the American Red Cross.
Past puppy raiser. CCI puppy raisers receive puppies when they are about 8 weeks old, keep and train them until they are 15-18 months old, and then return them to one of CCI’s five regional centers for 6 months of advanced training.
